It will be running on DW and LJ again this year, although there are changes, mainly that authors and artists will be responsible for posting their own fanworks.

bluespirit, who is typically a wonderful whirling hub of fannish activity, traditionally posts fannish content (a story, fanart, etc.) in December as a sort of Fannish Advent, but due to health problems, she isn't able to continue her Fannish Advent tradition this year.

In honor of Bluespirit, I created the community

fannish_advent (LJ peeps, here is the community in LJ-land). Let's make an effort to post fannish frolics every day throughout the month of December for

bluespirit , in gratitude for all she does for fandom!

Feel free to post links to stories, vids, fanart, what-have-you. Right now, bluespirit is active in Stargate: Atlantis and Hawaii Five-0 fandoms, so I'm going to promote the community to those fandoms. However, in the spirit of the season, all fanworks in all fandoms are welcome.

Also, please feel free to signal-boost to your friends, so that Blue gets lots of fannish love this holiday. Show her how much the SGA Teams care!
